SUMMARY:Public Meeting on the New Kerr Building
DESCRIPTION:The Fox Chapel Area School District administration is hosting a community meeting to discuss the upcoming construction of a new Kerr Elementary School. The meeting will be held Tuesday\, March 20\, 2018\, at 6:30 p.m. in the Kerr Elementary School multipurpose room. The meeting will include information from the district administration\, as well as presentations by the project architect\, Canzian/Johnston & Associates LLC\, and by a representative from Thomas & Williamson Project Management\, the construction managers. \nA new Kerr Elementary School is planned to be built on the current Kerr School property. Construction is slated to begin this spring\, with the project scheduled to be substantially completed in the fall of 2019. The district has held four community meetings on the project since April of 2017\, as well as an Act 34 Hearing. It is anticipated that this will be the final public information meeting prior to the beginning of construction. \nKerr Elementary School is located at 341 Kittanning Pike in O’Hara Township.
