SUMMARY:Holiday Class Parties
DESCRIPTION:Parties are held in each classroom in the afternoon. Parties typically include a snack\, game/activity\, and a craft (to allow student creativity—class parties typically include an open ended craft rather than just ordering ‘ready made kits’.)  The class party committee organizes the parties for every class and each class party is run by parent volunteers.\nOn party day\, volunteers meet at the school to gather party supplies and instructions and then go to their designated classroom to run the party! Each class room has 2-3 volunteers. Volunteers must have their badge*.  There will be a sign up genius link to sign up volunteers.

DESCRIPTION:Get students excited about art by visiting classes and giving brief presentations on artists and their work. Volunteers choose one artists and present to one grade (three classrooms) throughout the year. All preparation materials are provided. Presentations last about 20 minutes. SUMMARY:Scholastic Book Fair
DESCRIPTION:All week! \nA schedule of when each class will attend the book sale will come out the week before the sale.  Due in part to a generous anonymous donor\, the PTO is pleased to be able to sponsor a book for each student up to $6.  The sale will be open during Open House on 10/26 in the library for families to shop.  As a reminder\, tax will need to be paid on all book sale items–so take that into consideration when sending money with your child.  Info will come out from the librarians closer to the sale date–please contact them with any questions.\nTeachers also create classroom wish lists! Check them out during the Open House to provide a classroom book.
